Pełnomocnik Konsulatu Honorowego Republiki Łotewskiej we Wrocławiu Szymon Makuch uczestniczył w uroczystych obchodach 70. rocznicy powstania Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego we Wrocławiu.
W trakcie uroczystości nadano tytuł doktora honoris causa prof. Hansowi Christianowi Pfohlowi, wręczono także liczne nagrody i wyróżnienia pracownikom uczelni oraz studentom. Gośćmi uroczystości byli m.in. wicepremier i Minister Finansów Mateusz Morawiecki oraz Wojewoda Dolnośląski Paweł Hreniak.

Szymon Makuch, a representative of the Honorary Consul of the Latvian Republic in Wrocław, has participated in the 70th anniversary of the Wrocław University of Economics.
During the ceremony prof. Hans-Christian Pfohl received an honorary degree, while employees and students of the university were given awards and prices for their achievements. The event was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki and Provincial Governor of the Lower Sileasia Paweł Hreniak.
