13 kwietnia 2016 r. odbyły się uroczyste obchody 76. rocznicy zbrodni katyńskiej
Pełnomocnik Konsulatu Honorowego Republiki Łotewskiej uczestniczył w obchodach 76. rocznicy zbrodni katyńskiej, które odbyły się 14 kwietnia 2016 r. we Wrocławiu. Uroczystości rozpoczęły się od mszy świętej w bazylice mniejszej pw. Świętej Elżbiety, a potem przeniosły się pod Pomnik Ofiar Katynia na ul. Jana Ewangelisty Purkiniego. W trakcie uroczystości odczytano apel poległych, odmówiono modlitwę ekumeniczną, a następnie delegacje gości złożyły kwiaty pod pomnikiem.

The celebration of the 76th anniversary of the Katyń massacre took place on the thirteenth of April 2016.
The Plenipotentiary of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia has participated in the celebration of 76th anniversary of the Katyń massacre, which took place on the 14th of April 2016 in Wrocław. The ceremony began with a Holy Mass in the St Elisabeth minor basilica, and then moved to the Monument to the Victims of Katyń on Jana Ewangelisty Purkiniego Street. During the ceremony, the participants read an appeal of the fallen, said an ecumenical prayer, and then the delegations of guests laid flowers at the monument.
