On the 22nd of April 2016 the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia Martin Kaczmarski and the Plenipotentiary of the Consulate Szymon Makuch met with the Voivode of Opolskie Adrian Czubak and Vicevoivode of Opole Violetta Porowska. The discussion concerned the possibility of economical cooperation of the Opolskie voivodship and the Republic of Latvia, the Latvian population in the voivodship, as well as the history of Poland and Latvia.
