Konsul Honorowy Republiki Łotewskiej Martin Kaczmarski i pełnomocnik konsulatu Szymon Makuch uczestniczyli w spotkaniu z władzami miejskimi Opola.
22 kwietnia 2016 r. Konsul Honorowy Republiki Łotewskiej Martin Kaczmarski i pełnomocnik konsulatu Szymon Makuch spotkali się w opolskim ratuszu z Prezydentem Opola Arkadiuszem Wiśniewskim, Przewodniczącym Rady Miejskiej Opola Marcinem Ociepą, Naczelnikiem Biura Spraw Zagranicznych Januszem Karpińskim oraz Albiną Sitko z Biura Spraw Zagranicznych. Spotkanie było okazją do rozmów na temat zbliżania gospodarczego, kulturalnego i edukacyjnego województwa opolskiego z Republiką Łotewską. W trakcie spotkania konsul zaprezentował plan działań konsulatu oraz perspektywy pogłębienia polsko-łotewskiej współpracy.

The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia Martin Kaczmarski and the Plenipotentiary of the Consulate Szymon Makuch participated in a meeting with the municipal officials of Opole.
On the 22nd of April 2016 the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia Martin Kaczmarski and the Plenipotentiary of the Consulate Szymon Makuch met in Opole City Hall with the President of Opole Arkadiusz Wiśniewski, the Chairman of the City Council Macin Ociepa, the Head of the Foreign Office Janusz Kamiński, and Albina Sitko from the Foreign Office. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss strengthening of the economical, cultural, and educational bond between the Opolskie voivodship and the Republic of Lativa. During the meeting, the Consul has presented a plan of operation for the Consulate, as well as the prospects for enhancing the cooperation between Poland and Latvia.
